The largest and most popular campground within the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Elkmont Campground in Tennessee is a place where outdoor recreation is enjoyed by hikers, bikers, wildlife watchers, fishermen, and everyone else.
The park has 10 front-country campgrounds (as well as options for backcountry camping), and Elkmont is a popular tent and RV camp located just outside of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Grand Teton National Park has seven campgrounds, including the Signal Mountain campground, which offers 81 sites with a beautiful view of Mt. Moran (plus, some sites are close to Jackson Lake). The campgrounds at Jenny Lake and Signal Mountain draw a large portion of visitors to Grand Teton, so make sure to get moving quickly if you are hoping to get a spot in one of them. There are a number of year-round camping sites inside Indian Caves State Park, including sites for hookups for RVs as well as primitive campsites.
